If the Web Connector is freezing/crashing when connecting to QuickBooks with our sync – and logging the error “Object reference not set to an instance of an object” – there are a few reasons why this may happen.
- Exception in UpdateSelected()
- This means that you’re missing a Company Name / Address in QuickBooks. In your QuickBooks company, go to Company > My Company, and ensure the Company Name and Address fields are filled out.
- Unable to Get from Registry Key
- This means your web connector is not properly installed/configured. Remove our application from the Web Connector and re-add it by clicking add Application.
